Hosts India will kick off the World Cup campaign by playing their first game in Bengaluru. Who the Women in Blue will play is not finalized yet. Women's global event returns to India after a gap of nine years. The last event the Asian nation hosted was the T20 World Cup in 2016. The venues of the knockout matches will be finalized depending on Pakistan's qualification scenario. If the Fatima Sana-led side makes it to the top-four stages, then alternative venues have been shortlisted for the semis and final.
