Kuldeep Confident Ahead of England Tests, Expects Spin-Friendly Pitches
Currently, Kuldeep is touring England with the Indian Test squad. Although he bowled only 9 overs in a recent match, he was selected as the second spinner in the squad. The coaching staff believes he has more to offer on this tour, especially at venues like Lord’s, Birmingham, and The Oval, where the conditions are expected to assist spinners. Kuldeep also has a solid Test record against England batters. There’s a strong chance he will feature in three Tests this series, bowling alongside Ravindra Jadeja.

Kuldeep also shared his thoughts on bowling in English conditions:
"It is important to know what mindset you are going with," Kuldeep said. "I hope that the wickets will be good. If you look at the conditions—if it stays sunny as it has for the last 3–4 days—and if the wickets remain like this, it will be helpful for the spinners. I don't usually worry much about conditions, but if you do get a helpful wicket, it feels good to bowl on it."
The first Test between England and India begins on June 20 at Headingley. The intrasquad matches are currently underway, and reports suggest the playing XI for the opener may already be decided, with India expected to go with one spinner and four seamers at Headingley.
