In a heartwarming gesture that has captivated cricket fans and car enthusiasts alike, Indian ODI captain Rohit Sharma handed over his prized blue Lamborghini Urus to Yuvraj Rohidas Wagh, the winner of a Dream11 fantasy cricket contest.
The handover, which took place on Monday, marked the fulfillment of a promise Rohit made during a viral Dream11 advertising campaign at the start of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025).
The luxury SUV, valued at approximately INR 4.18 crore in the Indian market, carries a special registration number, 'MH 01 EB 0264,' a tribute to Rohit Sharma’s world-record 264-run innings in an ODI against Sri Lanka, which is the highest individual score in the format till date.

Rohit Sharma Keeps His Promise of Gifting His Lamborghini Urus to Fantasy Cricket Contest Winner
The story began in March 2025, when Sharma featured in a two-part Dream11 advertisement that humorously depicted him tearfully announcing that he would give away his beloved Lamborghini Urus to a contest winner.
While fans initially questioned whether Rohit would part with his personal vehicle, the recent handover confirmed that the cricketer stayed true to his word. The car, bearing the same registration number spotted in the advertisement, was indeed his own.
The handover event, captured in a video that has since gone viral, showed Rohit standing beside his gleaming blue Lamborghini Urus, holding a large dummy key. Wagh, accompanied by his family, approached the cricketer to receive the keys and pose for photographs.
In a light-hearted exchange, Rohit asked Wagh, "Konala captain kela hota?" (Whom did you make the captain?), to which he replied, "Sunil Narine."
The Lamborghini Urus, a symbol of Rohit’s success, has long been a fan favourite. Frequently spotted cruising Mumbai’s streets, the SUV’s distinctive number plate commemorates his historic 264-run knock against Sri Lanka in 2014, the highest individual score in the ODI history.
Rohit Sharma's Performance in IPL 2025
Rohit, who recently retired from Test cricket, started the IPL 2025 on a not so good note, scoring just 82 runs in his first six innings. However, he made a comeback and smashed three fifties, also playing a massive role in Mumbai Indians’ (MI) rise in the points table.
The 38-year-old has scored 300 runs in 11 innings at an average of 30 and a strike-rate of 152.28 so far in the season. Mumbai Indians are currently placed fourth on the points table and if they win their next match against Delhi Capitals (DC) scheduled on May 21 at the Wankhede Stadium, they will qualify for the playoffs.
