Vaibhav Suryavanshi has etched his name in the history books by smashing the fastest century in Men’s Youth ODIs.

Playing in the fourth match of the five-game series against England U-19 in Worcester, the 14-year-old batter raced to his hundred off just 52 deliveries. It was a breathtaking knock filled with clean hitting and fearless intent.

The left-hander walked in with a sense of purpose and dominated the England bowling attack right from the start. He dealt mainly in boundaries and smashed seven sixes on the way to the milestone.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Breaks Record For Fastest Hundred In Men’s Youth ODIs

Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s 52-ball hundred broke the record set by Pakistan’s Kamran Ghulam, who had scored a century in 53 balls in a Youth ODI. The Indian youngster has now made it his own with an explosive display of batting.

This is not the first time the teenager has grabbed headlines. Just last year, Suryavanshi had slammed a 56-ball century against Australia U-19 in Chennai, the second-fastest in the history of Men’s Youth Test cricket.

In the ongoing series against England U-19, Suryavanshi has been in tremendous form. Before the hundred, he registered scores of 48 (19), 45 (34) and 86 (31) in the first three matches.

He smashed a 35-ball hundred versus Gujarat Titans (GT), the second-fastest century in the history of the league. He also became the youngest IPL centurion.
